Meet The Trainer
My journey into dog training began in my early 20s, not as a career plan, but as a solution to a problem with my own dog. What started as a need quickly turned into a passion. I discovered I had a natural knack for understanding dogs and helping them learn, and that curiosity led me to formally pursue training.
I went on to apprentice under a CKC obedience judge, where I built a strong foundation in clear communication, structure, and fair training. Over the years, I’ve taught and worked in obedience, agility, and flyball, gaining experience with dogs of all temperaments, energy levels, and learning styles.
My focus has always been on helping dogs succeed in the real world. Training isn’t just about commands it’s about building understanding, confidence, and a relationship that works in everyday life. I believe every dog is the best dog in the world, and that progress comes from meeting the dog in front of you, not forcing them into a one-size-fits-all approach.
Learning never stops in this field. I continue to expand my knowledge through seminars, courses, and ongoing education to stay current, challenged, and inspired because dogs, owners, and real life are always evolving.
At the heart of my work is a simple goal: to help pet owners enjoy their dogs more, feel supported, and build skills that last long after the training sessions end.
